NG Kit Car

To comply with SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) the front wishbones' comparatively sharp edges must be covered.

NG supply stainless steel sections with their chassis kit for this purpose. The ends were ground & filed to give a tidier fit. The wishbones and covers were then drilled and tapped to accept button head stainless M4 machine screws.

The covers were then rubbed down with progressively fine wet & dry paper (600 grit, finishing with 1000 grit wet). This was followed by polishing with metal polish to bring them to a lustrous finish. To save being marked, the covers can be left off until later in the build.
