3 MGB Donor Parts

Donor Package

The MGB donor parts were bought as a Donor Package from MGB Hive.

​

  • The package included all the MGB parts needed for the build except some which would need replacing anyway. The condition was "as removed".

  • I left the engine, gearbox and rear axle to be re-conditioned in due course.

  • My donor car was a 1973 MGB GT (unfortunately not quite tax exempt at the time but subsequently has become so) complete with registration document, etc.

  • I collected it from their premises near Wisbech, Cambridgeshire with a hired trailer.

 

It looked like a collection of rusty metal but I was able to identify what almost every part was!
